Construction
The kit’s compact design makes it perfect for tight practice spaces. The rack is lightweight yet sturdy, providing a stable foundation.
It’s light to carry around, which we know is great for drummers that have to constantly move their e-kit around.
The noise-reducing bass drum and hi-hat pedals are well-designed, minimizing vibration and impact noise without sacrificing playability.
This is one of the best features, in our opinion, as most apartment drummers get noise complaints from kick drum pedals.
The CYQ-12 cymbal pads and mesh drum pads are built to withstand regular use while maintaining a responsive and consistent feel.
These features ensure durability and reliability, even for drummers who practice frequently.
Performance
The VQD106 excels in delivering a high-quality playing experience while keeping noise levels to a minimum.
The ultra-quiet pads and pedals allow drummers to practice with confidence, knowing they won’t disturb others in the same household or building.
The TD-07 module’s sounds are realistic and customizable, making it suitable for a variety of genres. Built-in coaching features such as time check and quiet count are particularly helpful for drummers looking to improve their timing and consistency.
The Bluetooth integration further enhances the kit’s usability, allowing for easy play-along sessions with backing tracks or lessons.
With that said, the TD-07 is a very beginner-friendly drum module. It’s limited for more experienced drummers who want better sounds and customisation. That would be our biggest complaint about this kit.
